We would like to congratulate Ms Jain who gave birth to Eva Camp on Wednesday June 7th! Anika is loving being a big sister! We wish the whole family many special moments with their new expanded family.
Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast: Monday June 19th @ 8:15 am
In appreciation of all our wonderful volunteers, the staff at Bessborough invites you to our annual "Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast" on Monday, June 19 at 8:15 a.m. in the library.

Roofing:
On June 27th, the roof above the large gym will be replaced and the gym will not be in use.
Appropriate Dress:
As the weather turns warmer, we want to remind all students of the
importance of maintaining our Dress Code. We expect all undergarments to
be covered up at all times.
Footwear should be supportive and secure to prevent injuries. If you have
any questions please contact the school.
Hats, sunscreen and water bottles are encouraged throughout the spring
and summer. We also remind students of the importance of good hygiene
especially with the warmer temperatures.

Last H&S Meeting - Save the Date!
Our last H&S general meeting for this school year is THIS Tuesday June 13th at 7pm in the library. We will vote on next year’s operating budget, review our projects from this year and as always, look for feedback and ideas from the membership. There will be babysitting provided in the mini gym. Social Series
Don’t miss your chance to meet new friends, have fun with old ones and give back to the school!
You can still get tickets to many of our amazing Social Series events for parents and kids. Ladies Night is THIS Thursday June 15th. It is always a fun night and a great opportunity to meet and mingle with other moms at the school. This year it’s being hosted by Lori Heller on Leacrest.
Also happening this week … The Kindie PJ Pancake Party - on Friday June 16th at 8:15am.
There is limited space for grades 1 and 2 to attend their lunch time Ice Cream parties next week. You can also still get a ticket to bounce with Bessborough at SkyZone on Monday June 26th.
Look forward to more fun in the fall with the Street Crawl on Saturday September 23rd and Men with Axes on Saturday October 14th.

Lost & Found Look Through
All Lost and Found items are now being displayed on tables in Bessborough’s main hallway for all parents and children to look through. There are LOTS of clothes, shoes and accessories so be sure to go by and reclaim your things. Everything will be on display until this Friday June 16th. After that, items will be donated to a local charity.
Traffic Meeting
It’s a hot topic in the hood these days. If you’re interested in attending a community meeting on Leaside traffic, Northlea is hosting a meeting on Wednesday June 14th at 7:30pm in their school gym.
Look Ahead
We are already starting to plan for next year and are looking for a volunteer (parent or teenager in need of volunteer hours) who could run the movie for Movie Night on Friday September 8th. If you are interested or know someone, please contact Robyn at robyneisrael@gmail.com. Thank you!
